I grew up watching anime like most people from my generation, but I didn't really get into it till Summer 2013 when I started watching Gintama, Panty & Stocking and Kuroshitsuji, but I was a shitty fan lol I spent like three months to finish Kuroshitsuji. Nowadays, I don't watch a lot of anime like I used to (adulting and videogames take up a lot of my time) but I try to keep up with new stuff that's coming out.
Am I the only one that can't stand people who shun mecha anime? They say it's boring before going back to watch basic stuff like One Piece or even boring stuff like Boruto lol. Yeah, I can't stand stupid cash grabs like Boruto...
In the picture above you can see my favorite anime, but it's an ever-growing list! I've watch +100 anime series I think...since I got a tablet I've been reading more manga and stuff like that.

LIKES: psychological, adult cast, BL, mind-blowing stuff, shonen, LGBTQ+ themes.
SUCH AS...: Kino's Journey, Ouran High School Host Club, Haibane Renmei, Evangelion, Heavenly Delusion.
CAN'T STAND: male-catered harems and ecchi, stupid sequels, bad videogame adaptations.
SUCH AS...?: Boruto (I can't even stand Naruto and there's a fucking 200-episode sequel that nobody asked for????), Redo of Healer/Goblin Slayer/any cheap harem with rape as a selling point, Elfen Lied, My Hero Academia, Demon Slayer.
